Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: April 13, 2026
Welcome to Euphoria Events ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (euphoriasd.com) and outline the rules, policies, and guidelines for booking our custom balloon decor, event styling, and rental services in San Diego, California. By commissioning our services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services & Proposal Acceptance
Euphoria Events specializes in bespoke balloon installations, backdrops, floral enhancements, and full event styling. All service bookings require a signed proposal or contract and receipt of a retainer. Descriptions, sketches, or reference photos in a proposal represent our creative direction; slight variations in color, organic balloon sizing, and placement may occur based on venue lighting, space constraints, and artistic discretion.
2. Retainers, Balance & Payment Terms
- Non-Refundable Retainer: To reserve your event date and inventory, a non-refundable retainer (20% of the total quote) is required at the time of booking. Without a retainer, dates remain open to other inquiries.
- Final Balance: The remaining balance is due on the day of your scheduled event, prior to setup or as specified in your individual contract.
- Accepted Payments: We accept electronic payments via debit/credit cards, Zelle, and approved bank transfers. Late payments may result in cancellation of services or expedited processing fees.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Client Cancellation: If you cancel your event after paying the retainer, the retainer remains non-refundable, as it covers initial design consultations, administrative reserving of your date, and procurement of custom materials.
- Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the original event date. Rescheduling is subject to our calendar availability and may incur a transfer fee if custom materials have already been ordered.
4. Outdoor Installations & Weather Policy
San Diego weather can affect outdoor balloon and floral decor. While we use high-grade biodegradable latex and professional techniques, outdoor installations are inherently vulnerable to environmental factors:
- Sun & Extreme Heat: Direct sunlight causes latex balloons to oxidize (taking on a velvety, matte look) and expand, which may cause occasional popping. We recommend shaded areas for outdoor setups whenever possible.
- Wind & Weather Conditions: Severe wind or rain may prevent safe erection of backdrops and arches. In such cases, we will work with you or your venue coordinator to find an indoor alternative. Euphoria Events is not liable for weather-related damage or deterioration after setup is completed.
5. Equipment Rentals & Client Liability
All rental hardware—including arch frames, shimmer walls, neon signs, pedestals, and weights—remains the exclusive property of Euphoria Events unless explicitly marked as a purchase item.
- Care of Rentals: The client is responsible for all rental items from the completion of setup until our scheduled strike (pickup) time.
- Damage & Loss: Any damage, unauthorized relocation, or loss of rental hardware caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties will result in repair or replacement fees billed to the client.
6. Venue Access & Approvals
It is the client’s responsibility to confirm that the event venue allows balloon installations, backdrops, and wall attachments (if required), and to arrange appropriate access times for our team to load in, set up, and strike.
7. Photography & Marketing Release
We take pride in our work and frequently photograph or video record completed installations for our professional portfolio, website, Instagram, and marketing materials. Unless explicit written confidentiality is requested prior to the event, you grant us permission to showcase images of the decor.
8. Safety Warnings & Limitation of Liability
Choking Hazard: Uninflated or broken balloons pose a serious choking hazard to infants, children, and pets. Adult supervision is required at all times around balloon installations. Discard broken balloons immediately.
Euphoria Events’ total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total contract price paid by the client.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, County of San Diego, without regard to conflict of law principles.
